Service NB — Local New Brunswick man Timothy Lawton put on a good face while waiting in line at Service New Brunswick in the capital city yesterday. Sources say that Lawton had been waiting in line for a full hour to renew his driver’s licence when his mouth began to contort into a strange not-frown.
“It looked like a… grin? Of some kind, although I don’t know why he’d do that, considering his life was wasting away at Service NB,” said Tara Hayter, who had been in line for 32 minutes and 41 seconds.
Others noted that Lawton forced a chipper tone with the attendant when his number was finally called, but his throbbing temple gave away his true feelings.
