Woman finds 'the one' on Tinder, accidentally swipes left

Fredericton — Longtime Fredericton resident Karen Forbes reportedly found her one true love on popular dating app Tinder, but inadvertently ruined her entire romantic future with one swipe of her thumb.

“I meant to swipe right so he’d know I thought he was perfect for me. It fucking sucks,” whined the distraught fourth-year UNB student. “I mean, I don’t get too many chances for real, long-lasting love, and I was really counting on him being the one.”

“The guys I meet in real life are never as cute and all-around right for me as Kyle, 24,” she said, referencing all the details she knew about her forever-lost soulmate. “I could totally tell he was my perfect match from the thumbnail photo of him drinking with five of his friends.”

Forbes plans to delete the app and try picking up at the city’s new Klub Khrome, if and when her heart mends after losing Kyle for eternity to other more diligent Tinder users.
