New Brunswick man falls down

Fredericton — Local pedestrian Brent Charters is planning on suing the City of Fredericton after taking quite the spill while attempting to cross the capital city’s infamous “Bridge to Nowhere” earlier today during snowstorm conditions.

Charters began climbing the unplowed stairs and immediately slipped and face-planted in the snow. While on a brave quest for storm chips, The Manatee‘s reporter found Charters near-motionless and grumbling to himself about legal action.

“I’m not moving until forensic investigators come to cordon off the area and snap photos of the evidence,” ranted a wet and cold Charters.

“Someone needs to hold the City accountable for this type of gross negligence.”

City officials have no plan to compensate or acknowledge Charters in any way.
